The house was designed with inspiration from the modern farmhouse style, which closely reflects the owners’ aesthetic preferences. The interplay of the roof forms, together with the use of a continuous material palette across both the façades and the roof, gives the building a sculptural character.
The layout is organized into two distinctly different volumes: a spacious living area with high ceilings, and a perpendicular wing containing the bedrooms, study, and utility spaces. The contrast between these areas becomes especially apparent at the point where the two volumes meet, where the staircase creates visual connections and views between the spaces.
